Windshield

Windshields are acoustic foam or fabric covers designed to reduce wind noise, breath pops, and handling noise on microphones used in broadcast, film, podcasting, and live sound applications. Fitting over the microphone capsule or housing, they attenuate low-frequency turbulence without significantly coloring the recorded signal.
